Four Horizon Europe projects – AfroGrow, LandShift, Nostradamus and Nemesis – are funded by the EU and Switzerland. They aim to develop innovative and sustainable solutions for agriculture and land use across Europe and Africa.
Led by Prof. Dr. Sabine Hoidn, our interdisciplinary team is focusing on socio-economic impact analysis, stakeholder engagement, training and capacity-building concepts, governance strategies and gender equality. By embedding technological innovation in social contexts, we ensure that solutions are technically feasible, socially accepted and sustainable.
